BURNS PROVE FATAL TO PILLOW WOMAN
Mrs. H. Jennie Miller, 72, of Pillow, was fatally burned Saturday, when flames of a rubbish fire ignited her clothing.
Mrs. Miller, according to advices, was burning paper outside her home when her clothing caught fire, and she apparently rolled in the garden to extinguish the flames.
A daughter found her body about noon, when she returned from a trip to Sunbury.
Mrs. Miller was the daughter of John Weiser and Jestina [Rothermel] Weiser, and was a member of Salem Reformed Church, Pillow. Her husband, Henry Miller, preceded her in death May 28 [1957].
Mrs. Miller is survived by one son and four daughters, John Miller and Mrs. Henry Koppenhaver, of Gratz; Jestina Miller, Mary Miller, and Mrs. Grant Troutman, all of Pillow, and five grandchildren.
Services were held from the Marlin S. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, at 2:00 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Arthur Roberts, pastor of the Pillow Reformed Church officiated and interment was made in the Grand View Cemetery at Pillow.
