Prohibition Law Violators, 1925 (1)

Two notices from the Lykens Standard, October 9, 1925:

71-Year-Old Wiconisco Man Paroled

President Judge Hargest in the Dauphin County Court, Monday, paroled Isaac Dietrich, 71, of Wiconisco, after he served forty-three days of a three month prison sentence for the possession of liquor.  On August 24 [1925], Dietrich pleaded guilty.  State police said they found two quarts of home-made liquor in his home.  Prison Physician Snyder recommended the release of the prisoner because of his poor physical health.
