Sam’s wife, Bertha [Riegle] Sitlinger (1879-1952) and Harold’s grandmother, Elizabeth C. “Lizzie Riegle were sisters, and therefore, Melva and Harold were first cousins, one time removed.
It is believed that the photo was taken at either the Sitlinger homestead or the Riegle-Dietrich homestead in Specktown.
