Sarah Adaline [Daniel] Evitts (1859-1925)

An early 20th century photograph of Sarah Adaline [Daniel] Evitts (1859-1920) on her farm in Specktown, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

Sarah was the daughter of John George Daniel (1801-1871) and Susanna [Moyer] Daniel (1818-1885).  During her life, she lived in Williams Township, Gratz, and Lykens Township.  She married William Albert Evitts (1854-1928) and with him had at least 11 children, most of whom were raised on their Specktown farm.

Sarah died on 8 January 1925, and is buried at the St. Peter (Hoffman) Cemetery in Lykens Township.
