Sr. Ignatius Usuka was a graduate of the the Williamstown Public Schools, Williamstown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Notre Dame University and was assigned mission work in Kenya, Africa, where, from 1954, she taught in the college training course started by the Kenyan government to educate their people.
