The Emergency Employment programs which were set up to provide employment, and also a labor corps to help clean-up and repair the flood damage, came to an end in late September.
Contracts for the repair of the Lykens Reservoir and the water shed were awarded to A & R Construction Company of Pine Grove and it is hoped that all necessary repairs can be completed before the winter sets in.
The individuals in the above photo are not identified.
