Although the caption that came with this photo indicates that it depicts Isaac Sitlinger and his five children, not that many persons appear in the picture. The location of the barn has also not been determined, although it probably is somewhere in Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
Note the buggy which is almost of the same design as used by the Amish in the Lykens Valley today.
