LYKENS DRUGGIST DIED SUNDAY
W. Gordon Smith, age 71years, of Lykens, died in the Harrisburg Hospital Sunday morning.
Mr. Smith had conducted a drug store in Lykens about forty years. He was a native of Lykens, and was a son of Dr. Wellington J. Smith, who was a physician in Lykens many years.
Mr. Smith was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and Ashlar Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite Masons, Harrisburg Consistory and Zembo Temple, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Smith, a sister, Mrs. Louise Workman, of Forest Hills, Long Island, New York; and one brother, Alfred S. Smith, of New Cumberland.
Funeral services were held from the residence at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, and interment was made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Lykens.
