A snapshot photograph dated June 4, 1939, of Walter A. Evitts (1884-1964) and Mabel [Riegle] Evitts (1883-1964) of Lansdowne, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, formerly of Specktown, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, on a visit to the Riegle-Dietrich homestead. Also in the photo is their grand niece Kathryn E. Dietrich (1915-2003), who was born in Specktown at the homestead, and who in 1939 was living with her uncle and aunt in Lansdowne.
The shed at left was where the tractor was kept. The Evitts’ dog Trixie can be seen at lower left.
