Warren Riegle and Friend, 1909

A photo post card, believed to have been taken about 1909, of Warren C. Riegle (1903-1982) and a friend identified only as Clarence Woland.  Warren is on the right in the picture, and Clarence on the left.  The photograph was taken at the Riegle-Dietrich homestead in Specktown, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

When Warren was about ten years old, his father, Charles G. Riegle (1876-1913) will killed in a mining accident at Short Mountain.

Help is needed in finding further information about Clarence Woland as no one has been found of that name in any of the Specktown area genealogies.
