Welsh Brother Circus at Lykens, 1915

The Welsh Brothers Circus, which was scheduled to perform in Lykens, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, on Monday, August 23, 1915, as noted in the above newspaper advertisement of August 13, 1915, Lykens Standard, had to cancel due to flooding on the Reading Railroad tracks west of Tower City, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania:

From the Lykens Standard, August 27, 1915:

Welsh Brothers circus was unable to exhibit here on Monday on account of the rain flooding the tracks of the Reading Railroad between Tower City and this place, thus cutting off traffic on that line.  They showed at Tower City Tuesday.

The poster advertisement described the circus as follows:
