Wiconisco High School, 1936

DOINGS IN THE WICONISCO TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL

The Baccalaureate services will held in Grace Evangelical-Congregational Church on Sunday, May 24th, at 11:00 A. M. The members of the class, teachers and directors will form in procession at the Schaffer Building at 10:45 and march to the church. seats will be reserved for the immediate members of the families of the graduates. Members of the Junior Class will assist as ushers.

The Commencement Exercises will be held in the gymnasium on Thursday evening, May 28th [1936]. All the essays are based on the theme, “Youth and Its Problems.” An unusual number on the program this year will be the Boys’ Choir, composed of boys from 9 to 12 years of age. The doors of the gymnasium will be opened at 7:30 P. M. and the program will begin at 8:00 o’clock. There will be no admission, seats will be reserved for immediate families and relatives of the graduates.

Pupils below high school age will not be admitted to the Commencement Exercises unless accompanied by parents.
