Wiconisco – World War I Veterans

wwi-bronze-001a

The following veterans of World War I from Wiconisco, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, were named in Barrett’s Lykens-Williams Valley History and Pictorial Review, published in 1922.

Barrett stated:  “In compiling the… list of names, great care was taken to avoid errors and give as near as possible an accurate roll.  Should some names not appear it is not the fault of the compiler since three months of search against various handicaps were entailed in its compilation, notwithstanding which this list is compete to the best of my knowledge and belief.”
