Wiconisco – Harman Plumbing & Heating, 1908

EDWARD HARMAN – PLUMBING, HEATING & ROOFING

Few business men of Wiconisco enjoy a more enviable reputation for general responsibility that Edward Harman who has been engaged in the plumbing, heating and roofing business since about 1896. Mr. Harman is a fine mechanic and has executed many important jobs here with the most satisfactory results, among which was the plumbing and range work in the home of Isaac Mossop, the steam heating system in the knitting mill, the heating and tinning in the new Kissinger residence and Keen & Brothers Building, and the plumbing in the large double house of Fritz Shott in Lykens. Mr. Harman does all the work in Wiconisco for the Water Company. His store contains a line of ranges, heaters, bath tubs and tin and agateware. Mr. Harman is thoroughly enterprising, progressive, and is looked upon her as one of the town’s most active and reputable business men. He is identified with the Knights of the Golden Eagle (K. G. E.) and Modern Woodmen and deserves his full measure of space in this review of representative mercantile factors of Wiconisco.
