
A post card message written on 18 July 1913, by Harry Miller of Halifax Rural Route 1, #37, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, to his friend Samuel D. Laudes, of Perkasie, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Apparently, Harry Miller suffered from a leg injury and was hospitalized but had been recently released. The hometown reference in the message was of Elizabethville, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The card sent was similar to the one previously pictured on this blog: Elizabethville – Main Street Looking East.
The message:
July 18, 1913
Bro was at hospital Wed. 16 to meet me. Came in my hometown yesterday and surprised all, Especially my little girl Edna, came part ways by myself, My leg is not healed up yet, This is the square in my home town, Feel more contented then in hospital, Give my best to Eugene,
