Amelia Klinger (1872-1954)

An undated Aunspach photograph of Amelia Loretta Klinger, who was born in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, 28 April 1872, the son of John Klinger and Christiana [Deibert] Klinger.  About 1892, she married David Calvin Klinger (1870-1931), and with him had at least nine known children.

David Calvin Klinger was a house carpenter in the Klingerstown area but in later years he had employment as a carpenter in the mines between Lykens and Williamstown.

Amelia [Klinger] Klinger died on 15 May 1954 in Lykens, and is buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown, Dauphin County.

The photographer, J. S. Aunspach, had a studio in Pillow, Dauphin County, where this portrait was most likely taken.
