Charles P. Polk age 79 years, a retired manufacturer, died at his home in Millersburg Friday evening.
Mr. Polk was a native of Lykens but had resided in Millersburg most of his life. With his father, he had organized the A. J. Polk and Son Machine tool manufacturing firm fifty-years ago.
He was a member of the Evangelical Church, and was a director of the First National Bank, Millersburg. He was also a member of the Masonic and Modern Woodmen lodges, and the Harrisburg Country Club.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Margaret [Knouff] Polk, and two daughters, Dr. Florence Polk, of Philadelphia, and Dr. Miriam Polk, of Harrisburg.
Funeral services were held from the residence Tuesday afternoon, and interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery, Millersburg.
