An undated photo post card view of Edward C. “Ed” Evitts (1888-1959) taken on the Evitts farm in Specktown, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
Ed was a son of William Evitts (1854-1928) and Sarah Adaline [Daniels] Evitts (1859-1925). Ed Evitts married Orphia Clark (1892-1949), the daughter of Frank Clark and Mary [Wallace] Clark.
Ed and Orpha lived in Branch Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, where Ed worked as a carpenter for the coal mines, and together had at least five known children.
The photo card was found in a collection kept by Beulah Agnes Evitts (1890-1967), who was a sister of Ed Evitts.
