QUARREL AT ELIZABETHVILLE LEADS TO SHOOTING
Stewart Wise, 16-year-old Elizabethville High School pupil was held on a charge of aggravated assault and battery with intent to kill, after it is alleged, he shot and seriously wounded his step-father, Ralph E. Scheib, 33, in the yard of the Scheib home at the west end of Elizabethville.
Police say Scheib was shot in the abdomen by a bullet from a .22 rifle, as the result of a quarrel between he and his step-son.
Scheib was treated by a physician at Elizabethville and then removed to the Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg, where an emergency operation was performed. His condition is reported as fair.
