George Richard Shearer
MILLERSBURG – George Richard Shearer, age 79, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
He was born on April 14, 1941 in Trenton, New Jersey, the son of the late George Shearer and late Josephine [Chubb] Crum.
He was retired from JB Shoe Manufacturing, Millersburg and attended Hebron U.M. Church & Assembly of God both of Millersburg.
He is survived by Daughter, Chandra Morgan (Matt Morgan), Halifax, grandchildren… [&] great grandchildren. Siblings: Dolly Lopez of Harrisburg, late Dennis Shearer of Halifax, Dave Albright of Miersburg, Sharity Hartzell of Newpot, Chennnedy Albright of Millersburg.
George worked as a disc jockey for many years in the 80s (Oldies But Goodies by Screaming George) and loved his music, especially Elvis. He also loved cars and was very particular about them.
He was a loving, kind and compassionate father and grandfather….
