Lydia A. [Helt] Riegle was the daughter of Daniel David Helt (1857-1937) and Catherine E. “Kate” [Snyder] Helt (1853-1909), of Elizabethville, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. She married Norman L. Riegle (1886-1942) on 10 September 1909 in Elizabethville, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and with him had three children who survived into adulthood.
The family lived in Robesonia, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
