Lykens Chamber of Commerce President Kevin Jury shows the many layers of old wallpaper that still remain on the wall in one of the upstairs bedrooms. He said there is much work to be done, but the costs would be far greater to destroy the building than to revitalize it. Jury has been working with others in the borough for 10 years trying to secure funds to bring the plans to fruition for the hotel and the Israel Building across the street.
