A brief article that appeared in the 6 January 1949 issue of the Elizabethville Echo, Elizabethville, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, regarding changes that were made at the railroad station in Millersburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania:
MAKE CHANGES AT RAILROAD STATION
New accommodations for passengers have been provided with the installation of a platform on the west side of the south-bound tracks at the Millersburg passenger station.
The change will permit southbound trains to receive and discharge passengers on the west side of the tracks, where all mail and express for such trains will also be handled.
Access from the station to the new platform is by way of the Center Street railroad crossing.
