FORMER MILLERSBURG PASTOR DIES
Rev. George F. Hess, age 54 years, pastor of the Miller Memorial Methodist Church, Philadelphia, died in the Lankenau Hospital, that city, 11 April [1954].
Rev. Hess was a native of Shenandoah, Schuylkill oOunty, and had served as pastor of Methodist churches at East Bangor, Bethlehem, Millersburg, Bristol, Summit Hill, and Ambler, as well as at several Philadelphia churches.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Elva [Jones] Hess, two brothers and three sisters.
Services were held at Shenandoah Tuesday, and interment was made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at that place.
