A photograph taken in 1898 of nine Pine Grove area members of the Fourth Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, while they were in training near Chattanooga, Tennessee. The group took a sightseeing tour and had their photo taken at Umbrella Rock on the banks of the Mississippi River. They departed from Old Point Comfort, Virginia, for Puerto Rico, shortly afterward.
