J. B. Becker was an apparel factory owner in Williamstown and other locations including Elizabethville, Dauphin County. His companies included the Unrivaled Hosiery Mill and the Bestock Underwear Company.
The second portrait photograph was taken much earlier, perhaps as early as 1930, when he was operating the Unrivaled Hosiery Mill in Elizabethville.
