John G. Romberger Home

Valley View, Pennsylvania
This 19th century English style Victorian home was built about 1912. The structure is highly ornamental, with a third floor tower surrounded by stained glass windows. The rood on the house is the original black slate. A wrap-around porch displays five archways. The house boasts eight sets of bay windows, with several on each floor.
The oak wood used in the home was taken from the south side of the Mahantongo Mountain, which was owned by Mr. Romberger.
The home remains in the family.
