In dating this photograph, Samuel Sitlinger (seated), died in 1936. Melva Jane Sitlinger, the youngest person in the photograph, was born in 1928, and she is about 5 to 7 years old. The Sitlinger’s were married on 28 July 1900, so it is possible that the photo was taken in 1935, in celebration of their 35th wedding anniversary.
